Pet Behaviour Counsellors

A pet is an animal that is kept for companionship and enjoyment, as
opposed to livestock, laboratory animals, working animals or sport
animals, which are kept for economic reasons or to perform specific
jobs. Birds have a close relationship with humans as pets, as objects
of beauty and wonder, as symbols of peace, wisdom and vanity. As pets,
they are entertaining, affectionate and offers a great deal of
companionship. Sometimes people treat their pets like they
are children, especially when the people do not have children or their
children are grown up. The APBC is an international network of
experienced and qualified pet behaviour counsellors, who, on referral
from veterinary surgeons, treat behaviour problems in dogs, cats,
birds, rabbits, horses and other pets.
